My family devours these honey roasted carrots with tahini sauce! The combination of sweet honey and creamy, garlicky tahini is absolutely delicious. They’re easy to make, healthy, and guaranteed to disappear fast. These carrots with tahini sauce are one of my favorite carrot recipes! The carrots are roasted with honey until caramelized and a bit sticky, and then we serve them drizzled with tahini sauce. They are incredibly delicious and make the most wonderful side! These carrots are sweet and creamy (thanks to the tahini sauce). I love serving them with savory dishes like homemade falafel, which I always dunk…

MELBOURNE, Australia — Carlos Alcaraz gets tattoos to celebrate Grand Slam titles, so he plans to get ink of a kangaroo if he can win the Australian Open to complete a full collection from the four most prestigious events in tennis. Alcaraz moved closer to becoming, at age 21, the youngest man with a career Grand Slam, overcoming a bit of a blip in the first set he’s dropped at Melbourne Park this week for a 6-2, 6-4, 6-7 (3), 6-2 victory over 33rd-ranked Nuno Borges of Portugal on Friday in the third round. He already has marked his body with the date of…
Forget the big-boosting Nissan Skyline GT-Rs and wide-bodied Lamborghini Miuras – what we really want is more bizarre kei cars. There’s something irresistibly fun about tiny vehicles designed to look like supercars. They’re guaranteed to put a smile on your face every time. Specifically, I’m talking about wild kei car creations like this Honda Today from 1988, which has gull-wing doors and a 12A rotary engine swap, built by RE Amemiya and Bomex. I’m not sure why we don’t see more one-of-a-kind kei projects along these lines – perhaps something due to cost. Nevertheless, in Japan, you can still find some pretty…

Getty ImagesDavid Lynch’s unique style could be dreamlike and nightmarish in equal measureDavid Lynch once said he was inspired to become a filmmaker when, whilst painting, he inexplicably heard a gust of wind and saw the artwork move on canvas. The moment defined his obsession with “seeing paintings move”, but also his flair for the bizarre – twisting realities on the small and big screen for almost 40 years. The 78-year-old US director, who has died months after announcing an emphysema diagnosis, became the contemporary face of weird, unsettling worlds often hidden within everyday society – from TV series Twin Peaks to…
Diablo 4 Season of Witchcraft is fast approaching. There’s understandably a lot of hype for all the new witchcraft powers, the freaky Headrotten enemies, and all the usual balance changes that come with a new update, but Season of Witchcraft also delivers what might just be Diablo 4’s best quality of life feature yet, and it’s one that feels long overdue for the ARPG. The Armory is a new tool that lets you save builds and switch back to them at any time, and a few more details about exactly how it’ll work have been shared by Blizzard. Spending time…

Toyota subsidiary Hino Motors has agreed to pay $1.6bn (£1.3bn) and plead guilty to deceiving US regulators about the amount of emissions produced by its diesel engines. The truck company will also be banned from exporting its diesel engines to the country for five years. It comes after Hino was charged with fraud in a Detroit court for selling 105,000 illegal engines in the US between 2010 and 2022. The settlement still requires approval by a US court.According to the US Justice Department, Hino submitted “false and fraudulent” emission testing and fuel consumption data in a “criminal conspiracy” that allowed it to…
Leading scientists have criticised the UK government for failing to take stronger action to tackle “forever chemical” pollution and refusing to match moves in the EU to ban non-essential uses of the substances.Last year, 59 experts in per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) sent a letter to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) asking it to follow the science, which has established that PFAS do not biodegrade and that despite variations in toxicity, this persistence itself is sufficiently worrying that all PFAS should be regulated as one class.PFAS pollution is so widespread that the chemicals are thought to…
